The wording used for marketing scams are varied. Here are some clues that the offer is a scam.

1) They offer deep discounts.
Example: Originally the price was $75, but for those you looking for a bargain we are offering it for only $39.
People really believe they are getting a good deal when the price is cut. Bargain hunters take action quickly. What is not revealed is that the price is too high and even their bargain price still gives them profit.

Scam Stories From Online Marketers

Being scammed does not feel good. It violates the very core of the person being scammed. There is a sense of loss and being violated.

The following people have been scammed, know it and realize a scam is so much different that the real deal.

Ministah was scammed several times. Then he found WA. WA is not a scam.I fell for a Get Rich Quick Scheme! I stumbled upon a rich-quick scheme. I paid $450. Since it was a high payment towards someone in a different country, it cost me an extra $13.50 for tax. As soon as I paid it I kept dreaming what it will be like in the next few months for me and how much money I was going to make. I was so excited and jubilant! After I paid the money I waited months. I told about the product as time moved on and I was kept updated. But I never got the product and never made any money. I was scammed.
I then found Wealthy Affiliate because I was yearning for that $20k. I honestly expected easy money obtained from affiliate marketing. But I was slammed with a reality check that I had to work hard and throw away the laziness. I realized that affiliate marketing was probably the most realistic way to make money online. I am so far enjoying myself here and this wonderful community and working hard and giving it a lot.

Scottier skeptical because was scammed. But trusted WA and found it is not a scam.I fell for a Make Money Fast SchemeI’ve been looking for ways to make extra cash and be able to stay at home with the family. So I started to do some digging and i found A LOT of work from home gigs. Like some people including myself, we get dragged in by the sites saying “Make money fast”. Well i did and come to find out…yep i got scammed.

Well I was discouraged for a while cause I didn’t think there was anything “Work from home” that would be legal. As i was reading some reviews i can across then one review. This lady was praising WA. She was saying that WA is the real deal, go check it out. So I said, “ok I’ll give this another shot”. I joined up as a free member just to see what it was all about. I tell you what, 4 days later I became premium. WA is the real deal.

JenaMaria Feels safe with WA. Was Scammed by another program though.I was skeptical after being scammed.I’m overall excited to be here and I’m also nervous about actually getting set up and going because I feel like I was “scammed” out of 100 bucks for a course that was supposed to teach me this exact thing, only to end up watching ENDLESS 2-3 minute training videos and not ever reaching a “how-to”. It was USEFUL in regards to mental health and getting motivated but its not what I was hoping to get out of the course.

Makoe feels she was scammed a large amount of money. I believe I was scammed a large amount of money. I saw an add that said Blue print To Wealth. They told me I did not have to do any selling of cold calling. You buy clicks and you buy postcards. They promised Sales would be coming in once or twice a week at least I’ve been out for a month and a half I paid for leads and clicks I pay for postcards over $3000 not one person has signed up. My initial price of my investment was $7000 . I’ve heard of the stories in the past and I’ve always said well I feel sorry for that person now I am that person I guess. I feel sick about it all. I am sure glad Wealthy Affiliate is not a scam.
